Explore the "Heart" of the Finger Lakes Region

exploreThe Heart of the Finger Lakes is at the very center of the Finger Lakes Region and borders on three of the major Finger Lakes: Canandaigua Lake, Keuka Lake, and Seneca Lake.

There’s plenty to do in the Heart of the Finger Lakes during every season, summer, winter, spring and fall. In the summer the lakes are the center of attention. It’s easy to spend the day boating, fishing, swimming and enjoying dockside restaurants. Many of our wineries overlook the lakes, providing breathtaking views.

In the winter, the lakes freeze in the shallower spots and people enjoy ice fishing, ice sailing and skating.

Spring festivals begin in April and go strong throughout the year. Jazz, art and harvest festivals attract people from all over the world. The changing colors of leaves, red, yellow and orange, splash the hills in the fall.
